From every place they cut, the sap was pouring out. At first I thought it was ice because of the snow and cold till I realized what it was,,,, to me it was soooo sad because the tree was bleeding :(<br />On a Happier note hope Spring finds you really soon,,,<br /> You must have some very happy Squirrels :)<br /> Have a Great Day ~Avalon's Garden and Mewsings of Garden Cottage Catshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11819592601113330036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2219480992269237323.post-33503402138388518822011-04-03T19:01:09.889-04:002011-04-03T19:01:09.889-04:00I haven't had any homemade maple syrup in ages...I haven't had any homemade maple syrup in ages. sigh.Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01524574998937986323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2219480992269237323.post-30475851326377738222011-04-03T12:16:53.403-04:002011-04-03T12:16:53.403-04:00Lucky squirrels!!!! The squirrels and birds are all over the trees drinking up the sap that drips out. I've even seen the squirrels this year peel off bits of bark to get to the sap underneath.Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12398703193664856227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2219480992269237323.post-1362625701191304772011-03-31T19:48:32.388-04:002011-03-31T19:48:32.388-04:00I've never heard of this before, what a neat t...I've never heard of this before, what a neat thing.
