Wreaths, wreaths, and more wreaths

It's my busiest time of the year, I've turned into the "wreath lady" for a few weeks. My brother owns a Christmas tree farm and I am the wreath maker. I've been at it for a couple of weeks now and I've neglected my blog. Today I am using a vacation day to go out to the tree farm and cut more boughs (in the pouring rain) and get ready for my Girl Scout meeting tonight. We will be making fresh evergreen arrangements with residents of a senior ladie's home. I enjoy creating wreaths but I miss out on having time to decorate my house and all that fun stuff!  I hope you enjoy my photos of some of my creations. I had thought of doing a giveaway - sending a wreath to the lucky winner, but decided I just don't have time.

  4. Bonnie,
Your wreaths look great and I am sure you will sell lots. How nice of you to make arrangement with the residents of the seniors ladies home. That is true Christmas spirit! Hopefully you will be able to find some time for yourself as well.
My husband is a Cub Leader (2nd Streetsville Scout Group) and sends his regards.

  5. Jennifer - Scout greetings to your husband. I did Cub Scouts many years ago with my son. This is my second time around for Girl Scouts, this time it's for my niece. Those little darlings sure have lots of energy! Our Christmas arrangements turned out great and everyone had a good time.

  10. Great Post. You are a "Busy Beaver" so to say. I love that people make their own wreaths. What a great way to use what is giving to us in our own surroundings.

  12. What a fun job and you do wonderfully at it. At least you know there's an end in sight too. I agree that it would be a special treat to have a bird nest come out of the tree you pick!
